5 tips for the optimal use of our rich media templates

We are proud of our product and proud of our support team. Since we develop a lot ourselves and work on our product on a daily basis, we are happy to share this knowledge and experience with you. Read tips and tricks from our support team below to save time and achieve greater impact with your rich media campaigns.

1) Always use the latest version of the template

    The Weborama Template is continuously being developed to ensure the correct display of your campaigns. It is therefore advised to always request it from Client Support or Technical Support. Did you get the template from a client, but you're not sure if this is the latest version? To be on the safe side, it is better to check via support@weborama.nl. This way you can be sure that the right template is used.

    The reason for this is that in this way you always have the right version of the Template at your disposal. Our experience shows that in the past sometimes an update was forgotten to download (with all its consequences).

    Don't use the Weborama Template at all? That's up to you. But you'll miss out on a lot of advantages. For starters: the template is very easy to use, so even less technical people can start working with it right away. See it as an empty coloring page. All you have to do is color it with your creation.

    Other benefits:

    -The template allows more assets than most other parties
    -You can use more ‘heavy’ banners
    -We use more metrics than a standard ad-server
    -Reporting is always included

    2) Make your ads special with extra features

    -Our video player can be customised down to the last detail - you can set it up as simply or complex as you want.

    -Desired interaction moments can be measured - all desired forms of interaction can be measured by means of events

    - The store locator - using a store locator, visitors can be directed to the advertiser's nearest stores

    3) Go for the ideal workflow

    We are sometimes asked how we operate exactly, and what the perfect workflow for the creation of a campaign looks like. The ideal workflow for placing a campaign (including an explanation) can be found on our support page. Using this workflow, we can work together efficiently.

    4) Respond to current events

    Looking for a way to make your ads stand out even more? Then respond to current events! That too is easy if you use our templates. With the help of an XML file, adjustments can be made to the material without our intervention. This can be done with text as well as images and video. In this way you can respond to current events in the context of your campaign.

    A good example is the campaign for season 3 of the Netflix hit series Narcos. Campaign banners at the time of the transfer deadline in professional football were shown in various international media. The advertiser could modify text himself based on current transfer rumours. They cleverly linked these huge amounts of money to fun facts about Pablo Escobar.
